Megan completed her Feldenkrais training in the Brisbane 3 training group with educational director Julie Peck. Her movement practice began forming in the mid 1990’s with studies in Martial arts; Wing Chun Kung Fu, Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong ‘Chi gong’.
Megan works with people who wish to find more ease and comfort, relief from pain or injuries, maintain abilities while ageing, move out of stuck or limiting patterns, identify more options or choices for themselves or gain clarity. She works with people of all ages. Megan’s passion is to enhance people’s lives through the Feldenkrais Method
Awareness Through Movement consists of verbally directed movement sequences presented primarily to groups. Each lesson is usually organized around a particular function.
In Awareness Through Movement lessons, people engage in precisely structured movement explorations that involve thinking, sensing, moving, and imagining. Many are based on developmental movements and ordinary functional activities. Some are based on more abstract explorations of joint, muscle, and postural relationships. The lessons consist of comfortable, easy movements that gradually evolve into movements of greater range and complexity.
